The Director of Sales serves within our network support center and supports our sales leaders in each of our communities for healthy living (currently in nine Iowa communities). This is an opportunity for an experienced, energetic and goal:driven sales professional their knowledge and expertise to further the sales strategies of our independent living, assisted living and health center services.

As our Director, you will have an immediate impact by becoming familiar with our network model and our available services, understanding our current census and available inventory, learning our local and regional markets and developing community:specific as well as organization:wide sales strategies to support our census and revenue objectives. On an ongoing basis, you will provide consultation regarding sales plans and practices to meet organizational goals, build lead banks, successfully close sales, and ensure we nurture both current and new relationships within all of our markets.

First and foremost, we need you to be passionate about our mission and services with a drive and energy to help us take it to the next level. We need you to be an idea:generator, able to consistently implement effective sales practices, resilient and resourceful, as well as able to balance big picture thinking with the need to drive implementation. You must be able to influence through effective team work and collaboration to set the organization on a course for success both today and into the future. This is a high visibility position, interfacing with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders.

The Director reports directly to the VP of Sales and Marketing and has a dotted line to our field marketing/sales team members. Your measure of success will be census and revenue generation in each of our senior living communities.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
6+ years of experience working directly in a senior living sales role.

1+ years of experience working in a sales role working with multiple sites is preferred.

This position requires excellent communication and people:centered skills.

A bachelors degree in marketing, sales, business or a related field is required. (Extensive successful experience in senior living sales with demonstrated successful results will be considered in lieu of the degree).

He/She must be able to demonstrate a successful record of achieving or exceeding sales outcomes.

Persons in this role must demonstrate the ability to act professionally and with integrity at all times in the representation of WesleyLife. He/She must be able to succeed individually, but also be highly collaborative in the process of attaining the goals of the organization and/or each individual location.

Additional skills required for this position include creative and strategic thinking skills with the ability to propose new ideas and influence team members to explore new approaches. A genuine desire to serve older adults with a passion for health and wellness are essential for success.
