POSITION SUMMARY
As a member of the Master Lock?s HR Leadership Team, the HR Director will report to the Sr. Vice President of Human Resources and serve as the Business Partner for the Sr. VP Operations, General Manager Milwaukee Operations, and VP Global Supply Chain. Based in Milwaukee & Oak Creek, WI, this critical role will drive strategic human capital initiatives in the areas of organizational design and development, employee and labor relations, and workforce planning.
IDEAL CANDIDATEWe are seeking a hands-on HR leader with US manufacturing and global supply chain experience who will deliver value-added, best-in-class support while serving as a strategic partner, employee advocate, HR operational manager and executive leadership. The director will have significant experience driving alignment with business priorities while ensuring action and compliance in a fast paced, dynamic environment. This role requires a person who is self-motivated and works well in team and matrixed environments. S/he must be able to interact with and influence leaders and contributors at all organizational levels.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIESKnow/understand the business and its challenges; address organizational and people needs; provide counsel and drive action in matters concerning org design and development, employee and labor relations, change management, staffing and retention
Partner with Master Lock?s US Operations & Global Supply Chain team to align structure, people, process and reward systems with business strategy
Focus on talent ? assist business partners in identifying, developing, coaching and mentoring top talent; ensure Master Lock is building strong team, capable of and empowered to build and execute a focused agenda; plan for succession
Develop, monitor and leverage key performance indicators to drive business improvement; focus on manufacturing, supply chain and customer service KPI opportunities

Partner with FBHS and Doors & Security HR to build and execute a focused HR/organizational excellence strategy
Champion and drive a culture that embraces innovation, continuous improvement and change, ensuring the pursuit of organizational excellence
Assist in development and delivery of HR process and systems training

Stay abreast of regulatory and political changes as well as shifting market dynamics; serve as general advisor concerning business and workforce implications; effectively manage risk

REQUIREMENTSBS in HR Management or related field; professional designation preferred
10 years of relevant HR experience supporting manufacturing and supply chain operations; firm grasp of the fundamentals of Human Resources Management
Demonstrated employee and labor relations experience ? including union contract administration and collective bargaining as well as positive associate relations in a non-union environment

IDEAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCEExperience in supporting supply chain including; SIOP, Logistics, Transportation LCC sourcing
Demonstrated ability to develop, analyze and interpret data, driving thoughtful recommendations and action

Demonstrated organizational development experience ? aligning structure, people, process and reward systems with business strategy; managing transformational change

Demonstrated ability to hire, inspire, lead and develop talent
