Our client is looking for a Director of HR Services reporting to the VP of HR.

Position Summary

The Director of HR Services is responsible for the strategy, leadership and oversight of Human Resources services delivery and supporting processes and technology solutions including payroll, HR reporting, analytics, metrics and compliance in a continuous improvement culture. Responsible for establishing effective services delivery model and identifying, leading and coaching team to execute HR operations excellence in a center:led model with efficiency and effectiveness.

This individual will provide development in the short: and long:term strategy for payroll and HR services delivery to deliver business requirements and associate experience in a scalable manner to include operating model, structure, standards, processes and governance.

In collaboration with business, functional and HR leaders, the Director of HR Services will establish and govern payroll, project, technology and process standards and policies, and establish reporting mechanisms for effective governance and continuous improvement.

The Director of HR Services assures ongoing thought leadership and strategic partnering in identifying most cost effective, efficient model to deliver payroll and benefit processes and services assuring a quality associate and manager experience.

Collaborates with HR functional centers and business HR to assure programs, policies and initiatives are operationalized with effective project planning, process design and technology to deliver a positive experience.

Collaborates with other functional leaders (Finance, Legal, IT, Marketing) to assure an integrated, common services delivery approach is delivered to business groups, that end to end processes are effectively designed and implemented and that best practices are shared.



Bachelors degree required; Masters degree with a specialization in Business,
Accounting/Finance, Human Resources or MBA preferred.


10+ years in HR or related HR services environment with 5+ years in people leadership role;

Extensive experience with multi:state legislative and regulatory environment required

Strong people development skills;

Strong business acumen with a global organization;

Ability to work in a matrix environment;

A hands:on collaborative style of working and a commitment to being a team player is a must;

Excellent communication skills: proven experience in developing relationships, building presence and commanding respect with C:level Executives;

The ability to influence peers and senior leaders across the business;

Strong analytical and problem solving skills, ability to think strategically and creatively, business savvy, exercise judgment.

Working Conditions
Travel up to 10 of the time may be required.
