Description
Directs the multi-sectioned office responsible for communication of the Division's news and information; plans, organizes, supervises, and evaluates all activities, program functions, personnel, physical, and fiscal resources of the assigned office; is responsible and accountable for strategic planning and outcomes.
Qualifications
Required
Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree in a field appropriate to the area of assignment.
Six (6) years of experience in communications, marketing, public relations, or related field, some of which shall have been in a supervisory or leadership role.
Knowledge of the principles, practices, methods, functions, and current trends of administration of the office and the department to which assigned.
Ability to manage fiscal, physical, and human resources to successfully carry out the function and programs of the office to which assigned.
Ability to supervise and lead.
Ability to facilitate meetings and/or present information to groups.
Ability to establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with personnel assigned to schools, other departments, public entities, and citizens.
Proficiency in the use of technology and data compilation, analysis, and reporting.
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
Preferred
Master's degree.
Salary Range
$125,538 - $190,976
