Job DescriptionDirector needed in Chicago, IL and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. to lead deal processes through development of sales strategy, solution proposal and deal closing for large opportunities.
ResponsibilitiesManage identification and generation of sales / new business opportunities to maintain growth.Manage relationship, escalations and propose the solution for client needs.Lead sales force for major products.Manage account specific sales and be responsible for ensuring business sales volume and profitability objectives are met.Plan, Direct and Monitor the performance of sales teams and re-allocate resources to improve overall results.Learning and building technical expertise required for technical solutioning.Close co-ordination with delivery and business teams to ensure delivery excellence for client satisfaction is also a key to success.Directly manage personnel, responsible for personnel decisions.Required SkillsMust have a Master's Degree (or foreign equiv) in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Business, Math, or related field, plus 5 (five) years of IT experience.In the alternative, we will accept a Bachelor's Degree (or foreign equiv) in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Business, Math, or related field, plus eight (8) years of progressive post-baccalaureate IT experience.Must have one (1) year of work experience with the following:(1) sales team, account, or related IT industry management experience; (2) business development, such as identifying and generating opportunities; and (3) monitoring team to ensure objectives/targets are met.All experience may be acquired concurrently.
Travel and relocation required as needed based on Capgemini business needs.
Telecommuting may be permitted as needed.
