Website: RafterOne's Salesforce B2B and Managed Services Practices seek a skilled and proactive Director, Delivery with strong Salesforce.com experience to join our team. In this leadership role, the Director, Delivery will manage a team of software engineers operating within a delivery pod structure, ensuring high-quality project execution from planning through delivery. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in project planning, execution, monitoring, and control, with a proven ability to manage timelines, allocate resources efficiently, and control budgets. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met on time and within scope.
In addition to overseeing delivery, the Director, Delivery will be responsible for risk management, team leadership, and maintaining clear and consistent stakeholder communication. A key component of this role includes guiding team members in their professional growth by facilitating upskills through training, technical certifications, and the development of client-facing soft skills. Success in this role requires a proactive self-starter with strong leadership qualities, excellent multitasking abilities, and a commitment to driving team performance while managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Team Leadership: Team Building and Management: Building high-performing teams, assigning goals & objectives, and providing guidance and support to team members.Performance Management: Setting clear expectations, providing regular feedback, and conducting performance reviews.Conflict Resolution: Mediating conflicts within the team and between stakeholders.Guide team members' professional growth by establishing career paths that include technical, soft-skill, and communication mastery.Stakeholder Management: Communication: Effectively communicating project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders.Relationship Building: Building strong relationships with clients, business stakeholders, and technical teams.Expectation Management: Setting clear expectations and managing stakeholder expectations throughout the project lifecycle.Risk Management: Risk Identification: Identifying potential risks and assessing their impact.Risk Mitigation: Developing and implementing strategies to mitigate risks.Contingency Planning: Creates contingency plans to address unexpected challenges.Technical Expertise: Problem-Solving: Analyzing complex technical problems and providing solutions.Decision-Making: Making informed decisions based on technical and business considerations.Project Management: Planning and Execution: Creating comprehensive project plans, resource allocation and risk management strategies.Project Monitoring and Control: Tracking project progress, identifying potential issues, and takes corrective actions to ensure timely delivery.Budget Management: Manages project budget, monitoring burn rates, and optimizing resource utilization. EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: A bachelor's degree, preferably in Business, Management & Information Systems, Information Technology or Computer Science, or equivalent combination of education and experience required8+ years of experience managing Salesforce projects, with a record of delivering successful implementations.5+ years' experience in People ManagementSalesforce Admin Cert preferredOther Salesforce Certs are a plusPMP certification is a plusBusiness Analyst certification is a plusSKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES: Excellent US English verbal and written skills requiredExcellent Leadership SkillsSolid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking skillsProactive self-starter with strong leadership skills to drive team performance effectivelyRafterOne is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
