The Cloud Business Desk will have principle responsibility to accelerate VMwares Cloud on AWS sales through standardizing of complex cloud deals in collaboration with VMW Sales, AWS Sales, and internal stakeholders.
Serve as a key member of the Sales Strategic Pursuit team, helping to define and execute on our deal construction and execution strategy.
Bring the various stakeholders together to build processes that meet the needs of the organization.
Work closely with the Sales team, AWS, Deal Management Team to make sure everyone is aware of the process and constructs, and to quickly execute on deals that are in the pipeline.
Understand the business and technical requirements of our customers and partners, and work closely with the internal teams to fashion appropriate deal terms.
Establish systems to measure and track metrics related to deal making, and to make improvements to our approach based on those measurements.
Prepare and give business reviews to the senior management team regarding progress and metrics.
Assist with complex contract negotiations and manage the approval process, including liaising with involved internal groups such as DMT, Legal, Finance, Business Unit etc.
Handle a high volume of engagements and the fast pace of the cloud computing market.
Required Experience:
We are looking for someone with 7:10 years of sales, sales or deal management experience in a dynamic, highly competitive, ever:changing enterprise sales environment.
Do you have major understanding of Cloud Sales and preferably experience with AWS or other large cloud provider (Microsoft, Google)
Strong verbal and written communications skills are a must, as well as leadership skills.
You have the ability to work effectively with and across all levels of business and IT contacts within very large and complex organizations
Do you have extensive experience directly and indirectly through a management team negotiating large 7 figure deals with extremely complex terms, conditions, price pressures and considerations
You are a Self:starter who takes initiative and works with limited direction

BA/BS degree or higher.
