The Island Health Department of Medical Imaging in Duncan is seeking a Locum Radiologist at the Cowichan District Hospital (CDH), with a new hospital planned to open in 2027.
The successful candidate will have proficiency in CT, US, MRI, Mammography, Fluoroscopy, BMD, and basic interventional procedures, as well as:
Flexibility, adaptability, and strong interpersonal skills to work harmoniously within a small group practice of 7 Radiologists.MRI or MSK specialization would be an asset.Willingness to share administrative roles and future leadership responsibilities.An interest in living in the local island community.Training or willingness to train in CT Cardiac Coronary Angiography and CT Colonography.A preference for a lifestyle-based practice with abundant vacation time and flexibility, with willingness to increase workload as needed.Eligible candidates must hold Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada certification in Radiology and be eligible for full licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC.
