Description
Robert Half Technology is scouting out talented Desktop Support Technicians who are able to relay difficult technical information to non-technical users in an easily understandable and concise format. Problem solvers who enjoy working in a challenging and positive environment may do well in this Desktop Support Technician position. This Desktop Support Analyst role is long-term temporary in nature and is based in the Miami, Florida, area.
Responsibilities
- Preserve, inspect, and mend computer systems, hardware, printers, and computer peripherals
- Meet regularly and effectively with ticket submitters
- Give support on a variety of computer hardware and software issues by identifying, researching, and resolving technical problems
- Organize hardware repairs with the appropriate vendors
- Offer computer desktop support in accordance with established policies and procedures
- Fix computer problems, and recommend appropriate action/solutions
- Create records of daily data communication transactions, issues and remedial actions taken or installation activities

Requirements
- Ability to quickly write reports, business correspondence, user instructions, and procedure manuals
- Proven knowledge of Active Directory
- MS Windows 10 experience
- MCSE Certification experience
- Command of MCSA
- WLAN experience preferred
- Strong familiarity with Microsoft Office 365
- 3+ years of desktop support or other related experience
