Affirma is looking for a Data Software Engineer to join an
exciting client of ours in Baellevue

In this role,
you will provide reporting and analytic services to a variety of legal
functions to help drive evolution of the data, analytics, and intelligence.



The design of orchestration of data flows
ingesting and transforming data from a variety of sources using Azure Data
Factory, Azure Data Bricks, Azure Functions or alternatives, as needed.


The design and development of scalable large,
complex data aggregation, storage, analytics, and intelligence solutions on
Azure mainly working with ADW and DataBricks.

Data modelling and optimization of schema for
reporting, including the design and maintenance of SSAS tabular models in:line
with business requirement

Planning, execution and automation of test plans
for pipelines, data transformations/aggregations and data stores.

Implementation of continuous
integration/delivery with build and deploy automation



3+ years of experience designing and working on
enterprise scale Business Intelligence (BI) Analytics and Data Warehousing

Deep familiarity with design
patterns and technologies for data ingestion, processing, storage and

3+ years of experience working with the Azure
data stack leveraging services like Azure Data Factory, Azure DataBricks, Azure
SQL Server, Azure SQL Data Warehouse and Azure Data Lake.

2+ years of experience designing and maintaining
tabular models on SSAS/AAS and competency with DAX. Good understanding of dimensional
modelling best practices and practical applications.

Preferred skills


Experience with .Net, C

Working experience in reporting frameworks with
rich interfaces like Power BI. Experience with user friendly data
visualizations using self:service capabilities

1+ years of experience productionizing advanced
analytics solutions working with machine learning and/or natural language
processing within a big data environment. Deep understanding of challenges,
available tech and Azure specific services in this space.

1+ years working experience using modern
engineering practices like telemetry, automated testing, automated builds and
deployments etc.
