Our client, located in Alpharetta, is looking for a Data Analyst to fulfill a long term contract position.
The Data Analyst provides support to the Engineering Program Management (EPM) team and is directly responsible for various executive reporting, training materials, and portfolio data analytics. This entails fostering and managing productive relationships with executive level sponsors by partnering with sponsors in understanding and creating opportunities and in making timely choices. The Data Analyst spends majority of time on IT metrics and reporting responsibilities using Power BI.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Creativity/Innovation: Provide ideas on capturing the right metrics and develop a plan to communicate findings.
* Work to establish an understanding of resource bottlenecks that impact Insurance capacity against demand.
* Lead the development and implementation of a broad, coordinated set of plans to meet the goals and priorities of the business unit.
* Establishes contacts, relationships and a network both inside and outside Technology.
* Define process for determining the objectives and measures upon which the project will be evaluated at its completion (success criteria).
* Monitor all budgeted project expenditures and communicate to stakeholders on a monthly basis
* Identify and make recommendations for improvement to existing processes and procedures.
* All other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Bachelor's degree in technology, finance, business, or equivalent experience required
* Technical knowledge - Power BI and JIRA, required.

* Organize: Set priorities, develop a work schedule, monitor progress towards goals, and track details/data/information/activities.
* Plan: Determine strategies to move the project forward, set goals, create and implement actions plans, and evaluate the process and results.
* Solve Problems: Drive organizational change taking full account of obstacles, opposition, and differing stakeholder priorities. Actively participates in cross-functional groups to solve problems across conflicting projects.
* Tools: Experience using JIRA, and Power BI.
Working Conditions
Project Managers work a standard work week but may be required to work some evenings and weekends to meet project milestones.
