Position Summary Austin Retina Associates is seeking a responsible, self-motivated individual to join our call center team. This role will include making and changing appointments and other assigned duties.
Duties/Responsibilities Answer 200-300 phone calls per day with multiple calls coming in at onceSchedule and change patient appointments using multiple software systemsCommunicate with the scheduling team as needed to ensure calls are answered timelyTake messages for staff as neededAssess patient needs and schedule them accordingly, communicating with physician and/or their teams as neededCommunicate with physician teams as needed to support their scheduling needsPerform administrative support as needed Required Skill/Abilities Fluent bilingual in Spanish Demonstrated effectiveness showing courtesy, diligence, integrity, and teamworkStrong interpersonal and customer service skills (effective listening, clear communication, effective customer problem resolution, warm demeanor) Desired Attributes Experience with a busy phone in an office settingExperience with medical scheduling Perks and More Schedule approximately 8-5 pm during weekdaysHybridHourly pay (nonexempt, eligible for overtime)Market competitive starting pay.
