Job Description Summary :

The Customer Service Intake Assistant is responsible for initiating and coordinating sleep appointments for our customers requiring a sleep machine related service. Provides daily maintenance and timely completion of routing of incoming faxes to the appropriate department or person to ensure timely completion of the request by the receiving department. Accepts or answers sleep scheduling and/or reception calls throughout the day and provides excellent customer service to our internal and external customers.
Job Description:

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: 1. Schedules respiratory sleep customer appointments across the six ThedaCare at Home retail locations to meet the customer?s plan of care from the provider. 2. Completes appropriate documentation for accuracy of patient information in the electronic medical record to ensure accurate billing. 3. Assesses and routes incoming electronic faxes to the appropriate department for accuracy and timely completion of the request by the receiving department. 4. Accepts phone calls and monitors real-time data for incoming sleep scheduling phone calls and wait time data to ensure the customer need is met appropriately. QUALIFICATIONS: ? High school diploma or GED PHYSICAL DEMANDS: ? Ability to move freely (standing, stooping, walking, bending, pushing, and pulling) and lift up to a maximum of twenty-five (25) pounds without assistance ? Job classification is not exposed to blood borne pathogens (blood or bodily fluids) while performing job duties WORK ENVIRONMENT: ? Normally works in climate controlled office environment ? Frequent sitting with movement throughout office space ? Use of computers throughout the work day ? Frequent use of keyboard with repetitive motion of hands, wrists, and fingers
