As a Community Relations Coordinator, you are responsible for coordinating publicity and promotional efforts for Veterans United Foundation and Branch affiliates, while also working closely with the Media Relations team on various initiatives. You will work with internal and external stakeholders and represent Veterans United Home Loans and its affiliates, both locally and nationally.
Job duties will vary upon assignment but may include:
Craft tailored messaging to promote the company and its initiatives; write press releases, research, cultivate and create content that tells the story of our company and the community partners we support.
Be a liaison for key internal and external stakeholders. This includes attending events outside of normal business hours and offering communications support.
Work closely with the Media Relations team in order to cultivate relationships with Veterans United employees, executives, journalists and community members.
Work in concert with the Social Media team to supplement promotional efforts.
Perform other duties as assigned, excluding licensed activity.
