Primary Care Physician with Hospital Duties The University of NewMexico School of Medicine, Department of Family & CommunityMedicine, seeks qualified and dynamic Family Medicine Physiciansinterested in joining its faculty and passionate about service, education,scholarship, and leadership.
Candidateshired for this position will provide patient care in outpatient and inpatientsettings and support departmental education and scholarship efforts.
Physicians interested in securing funds forresearch projects are also encouraged to apply.

This position will include a primary care clinic with adedicated patient panel and duties supervising residents in the ambulatorysetting and on one or more of the following hospital services: obstetrics and maternal/childhealth, hospital medicine, newborn nursery, and/or intermediate care nursery.
The educational duties will include teachingUNM medical students, physician assistant students, and UNM Family Medicineresidents and fellows.

Family Medicine faculty provide care in the Maternal ChildHealth service (a Family Medicine obstetric service), the Family MedicineInpatient Service, which provides care to adult and pediatric patients, theNewborn Nursery, and the Intermediate Care Nursery.
