Job Title: Client Relationship Manager Out of the Box Technology is an $11 million QuickBooks and accounting consultancy firm specializing in customized business solutions. We are passionate about helping businesses grow by offering expert accounting, bookkeeping, software integration, and business process optimization services.
We are seeking a dynamic and client-focused Client Relationship Manager to serve as the critical link between our Sales and Service teams. This role ensures seamless onboarding, identifies cross-sell and upsell opportunities, and drives a world-class client experience throughout the customer lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication skills, a strong understanding of the accounting industry, and a proven track record of fostering client relationships that lead to growth and retention.
Serve as the liaison between the Sales and Service teams to ensure a smooth and professional onboarding experience for new clients.
Own the client experience journey, focusing on satisfaction, retention, and identifying opportunities for expansion.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client expectations are met or exceeded across all touchpoints.
Proactively identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities and work with the Sales team to execute strategic follow-up.
Manage and monitor onboarding timelines, deliverables, and handoffs to ensure clients receive timely and high-quality service.
Develop and maintain client success metrics and reporting dashboards.
Act as the voice of the client internally to help refine our services, onboarding process, and communication standards.
Address and resolve client concerns with professionalism and urgency.
Continuously evaluate and improve the client journey through feedback and data-driven insights.
3+ years of experience in a client success, client management, or onboarding role—preferably within an accounting, finance, or professional services environment.
Strong accounting acumen or background—QuickBooks knowledge is a significant plus.
Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated success in building trusted client relationships and driving retention and growth.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Tech-savvy, with comfort using CRM systems, client onboarding tools, and collaboration platforms.
Highly organized, proactive, and results-oriented.
Experience working in a SaaS or accounting technology environment.
Familiarity with QuickBooks, Xero, or other accounting platforms.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
