JOB SUMMARY
Children's Healthcare of Atlanta is hiring a Client Experience Engineer to join our team! The Client Experience Engineer acts as chief designer of desktop operating/management systems and application delivery, including application and desktop virtualization. Designs Children's Healthcare of Atlanta's network operating systems to ensure a consistent standard of business practices and delivery of services.
EDUCATION
Associate's degree in software engineering or computer science
CERTIFICATION SUMMARY

EXPERIENCE*
Threeyears of experience in computer operations
Threeyears of experience in a desktop support position, including help desk and a microcomputer environment
Threeyears of experience in a direct support help desk environment
Threeyears of experience in desktop delivery services, including operating systems, applications, imaging and patch management
Threeyears of experience in software systems, e.g., Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager(Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager) and Application Virtualization, virtualization technologies, and enterprise desktop and application deployments
Responsible for Active Directory group policy experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS*
Virtual Desktop highly preferred
Powershell scripting highly preferred
Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP)
Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE)
Computing Technology Industry Association A+
Computing Technology Industry Association N+
Twoyears of experience in a healthcare setting

Proficient in TCP/IP, Win9x, Windows NT, Microsoft Office, Windows operating systems, VoIP technologies, Compaq server hardware, and NetWare
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES*
Designs network operating system, including configuration of servers, workstations, host, terminal servers, access servers, firewalls, and third-party applications.
Functions as chief designer of desktop management systems, including Microsoft SMS, Compaq Insight Manager, and Winstall.
Functions as chief designer of standards and documentation of all network operating systems.
Provides technical training for all support personnel to ensure quality of service.
Provides third-level support to technical support team.
Performs technical analysis of network operating systems using diagnostic tools to enable growth capacity planning.
Researches and makes recommendations for new server and workstation hardware based on current and projected goals.
Researches and makes recommendations for new desktop management systems and operating systems.
Verifies network is run in accordance with guidelines set by management.
Oversees implementation of server and workstation hardware and software to ensure the best interests of the organization.
SYSTEM RESPONSIBILITIES*
Safety:Practices proper safety techniques in accordance with hospital and departmental policies and procedures. Responsible for the reporting of employee/patient/visitor injuries or accidents, or other safety issues to the supervisor and in the occurrence notification system.
Compliance:Monitors and ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements, organizational standards, and policies and procedures related to area of responsibility. Identifies potential risk areas within area of responsibility and supports problem resolution process. Maintains records of compliance activities and reports compliance activities to the Compliance Office.
