Position SummaryThe University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Department of Neurology, is seeking a BE/BC neurologist with clinical and/or research interests in Child Neurocritical Care Neurology.
Neurocritical Care fellowship training is desired but not required.
This position will offer a primary academic appointment at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
UNC -Chapel Hill has a large primary pediatric residency with over twenty fellowship programs including a Child Neurology Residency and a Clinical Neurophysiology Fellowship.
The UNC Pediatric Neurocritical Care Unit within the Division of Child Neurology is expanding with leadership opportunities to start and lead a pediatric neurocritical care physician and nurse practitioner training/fellowship program.
The position will include child neurology hospitalist duties and neurocritical care follow-up outpatient time.
The department has protected research time and production from this time is expected.
We provide opportunities for faculty career development including support for academics and research.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements: Candidates must have an M.D., D.O., or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience: BE/BC neurologists with clinical and/or research interests in Child Neurology.
Neurocritical Care fellowship training preferred.
