Salary: $175,000 – $250,000 per year (DOE) + Bonus Potential

Position Summary: The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the business and driving the company's financial strategy and planning.
As a key member of the executive team, the CFO will provide strategic guidance and leadership for accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, compliance, and risk management for a construction company focused on underground utility services.


Key Responsibilities: Direct financial strategy, planning, and forecasts.Oversee job costing, WIP reporting, and revenue tracking.Manage accounting, HR/Payroll and finance teams.Ensure compliance with tax laws, labor laws, and contract requirements.Monitor cash flow, bonding, insurance, legal matters and financial risk.Provide reports and analysis to ownership and key stakeholders.Support operations with cost control, budgeting, and forecasting.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's or CPA preferred)8–10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, preferably in construction or underground utilitiesStrong knowledge of construction financials, project accounting, cost control, and contract managementFamiliarity with construction-specific software such as Vista by Viewpoint, HCSS, Insight SoftwareProven experience managing teams, streamlining financial systems, and supporting field operationsExcellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skillsBilingual (English/Spanish) a plus, but not requiredPlease respond to this ad with: Resume including references and applicable experience, desired compensation
