We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Certified Detox Technician to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the safe and effective delivery of medications to our patients. Your expertise will contribute to patient care and support the overall health and well-being of those we serve. Duties Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately.Maintain and update patient medical records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulations.Provide exceptional patient care by answering questions regarding medications and health-related inquiries.Administer medications as prescribed, following all safety protocols.Support patients with special needs, including those with disabilities or requiring special education assistance.Engage in crisis management when necessary, providing support to patients in distress.Collaborate with healthcare professionals in behavioral health settings to ensure comprehensive patient care.Document medication administration and any relevant observations regarding patient responses.Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills related to PTSD care and social work. Requirements Valid certification as a Pharmacy Technician from an accredited program.Strong knowledge of medication administration practices and medical records management.Experience working with children or individuals with behavioral health challenges is preferred.Ability to demonstrate compassion and understanding towards patients facing crises or requiring special attention.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with patients and healthcare team members.Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate medication dispensing.A commitment to continuous learning and professional development within the pharmacy field. Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
