Job RequirementsSpartanburg Regional Healthcare System in Spartanburg, SC is seeking to hire FULL TIME Certified Anesthesia Assistants (CAA) to join our team of providers.
CAAs are credentialed to work at Spartanburg Medical Center – Church Street (SMC Level 1 Trauma), Spartanburg Medical Center - Mary Black campus (MB), Cherokee Medical Center (CMC), and Pelham Medical Center (PMC).
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited anesthesiologist assistant educational program.
Highlights of the OpportunityAnesthesia care team includes 33 Anesthesiologists and 90 CRNAs covering OR, Endo, Cath Lab, L&D, MRI & IRDiverse case mix across all campuses, from 22 state-of-the-art ORs in Level 1 trauma to a 4-OR community hospitalNo transplant, burns, and limited pediatric casesApproximately 17,500 cases annually at SMC Trauma CenterShift options include 8, 10, and 12 hoursOpportunity to pick up additional shiftsParticipation in call team is optional, supporting excellent work/life balance4-6 week mentorship and orientation programBenefits include a $20,000 sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, and a $3,500 CME allowanceUse of EPIC EMR systemHealth insurance begins from the date of hirePaid malpractice insurance, including tail coverageInstitution is PSLF approvedLiving in the UpstateJust an hour from the Blue Ridge Mountains and three hours from the ocean, the area offers moderately priced housing, abundant educational options, family-friendly communities, easy commuting, and endless recreational activities.
