Description

POSITION SUMMARY Provides a complete range of duties associated with addiction treatment services. The CAS counsels independently and service a wide variety of clients across Centennials ten counties. 
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES Interviews, reviews records and confers with other professional to evaluate condition and needs of clientsFormulates programs for treatment and rehabilitation of clientsCounsels clients individually and in group sessions to assist clients in overcoming alcohol and drug dependencyCounsels family members to assist family in dealing with and providing support for the clientRefers client to other support services as needed such as medical evaluation and treatment, social services and employment servicesMonitors condition of client to evaluate success of therapy, adapts treatment as neededMaintains accurate and timely clinical records consistent with Center standardsPrepares documents for presentation in court and presents court testimony as neededParticipates in minimum of 2 hours of clinical supervision per monthPerforms other job duties as assigned Requirements

EDUCATION  Bachelor's degree in related health sciences
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Colorado Certified Addiction Specialist 
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES Ability to work effectively and ethically with diverse clientsAbility to work effectively using telehealth service delivery methodsEffective written and verbal communication skillsKnowledge of community resourcesDemonstrate effective time management and ability to multi-taskBasic computer literacy such as email communication, telehealth platforms and word processingAbility to work flexible hours as neededAbility to travel within the Center's service area or to the other locations as needed Salary Description

$24.03/hr - $30.04/hr
