The cashier Floater position is responsible for maintaining guest service, generating sales, housekeeping, merchandising, signing, pricing, cash register operations, and loss prevention in adherence to all Company policies and store standards.
This position will include all shifts but will work mainly nights (2pm-10pm) and weekends. Floating cashiers work at a variety of different locations within the same week and must have open availability 24/7.
Essential Functions
Ensure that each guest receives outstanding guest service by providing a friendly environment and assisting customers when needed
Sweep, vacuum, dust/wipe down, and/or mop and sanitize restrooms, counters, aisles and shelves, pumps, and floors. Empty trash bins inside and outside of store as necessary.
Maintain an awareness of product information relative to the marketing plan and suggestive sell accordingly
Maintain the safety and appearance of our grounds by monitoring cleanliness of lots and snow and water removal from the floors and/or sidewalks
Efficiently complete all customer sales transactions and maintain an accurate cash drawer
Assist in monitoring floor, cooler and counter stock and replenishing product when necessary
Responsible for monitoring and managing the coffee and drink bar ensuring all product is available and follow proper spoilage procedures
Maintain basic knowledge of pump operations and be able to change gas prices and follow call chain procedures
Adhere to all company policies, procedures and practices

Physical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, etc. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. There is no sitting on stools, chairs, or counters during shifts.
