Primary Purpose:
The Business Analyst will work closely with the data science team, as well as clients, to optimize the performance of ad campaigns. The Business Analyst will analyze performance data and present findings to clients.

Solve analytical problems using data
Present findings to clients
Help advertisers and website publishers optimize advertising campaigns by joining client data with internal data to identify trends and patterns to make bidding optimizations based on those insights
Implement optimizations within the Transparent.ly platform.

Bachelor Degree or in-lieu of degree equivalent education, training and work-related experience
2+ years of experience in analytical work with a heavy component of presenting findings
Highly quantitative aptitude
Capable of identifying patterns from large amounts of data
Self-starting problem solver with comfort in solving problems
High degree of initiative, mature judgment, and discretion
Works independently with little supervision
Must possess effective verbal and written communication skills
Seek opportunities to contribute, learn and take on new responsibilities
Ability to articulate a problem, describe an approach for a solution and use data to confirm or disprove the approach
Effective organization and time management skills with the ability to work under pressure and adhere to project deadlines
Relentless attention and focus on the details
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Highly skilled with excel (pivot tables, vlookups, sumifs, manipulating data with text-to-columns, concatenations, etc)
Ability to show poise when responding to difficult questions
Experienced in presenting data and insights to professionals and clients
Skilled in learning and using online platforms and software applications
Must possess the ability to bridge the skills of being highly analytical, while being able to effectively communicate your findings
Desired Skills:
Bachelor Degree in quantitative major with a high GPA
Understanding of insurance or mortgage industry
Understanding of marketing concepts, such as customer acquisition, and financial concepts, such as gross profit and margin
Experience in online marketing—Google Adwords, display advertising, and/or performance marketing
