Primary job function
Targeted sales achievement Merchandising/promotional activities
Customer service and retention, Audits, Employee training, Inventory management, Cash handling, reconciliations and deposits
Works with the Store Manager to ensure attainment of all net sales and revenue goals including: Gross sales/net sales, Accessory sales and margin targets, Rate plan take rates, Enhancement targets features/insurance sales, fees, data products and all other add on products, Retention targets, Automatic bill payment targets
Schedules employees for optimum store performance, including back up plans for peak hours, vacation, sick time, training, etc.
Ensures proper opening and closing of the retail location via completing reports and cash reconciliation.
Supports Store Manager in achieving goals by leading the team in inside sales, outside events and outbound marketing.
Drives success by ensuring employees follow the sales process.
Assists customers, handles customer escalations and promotes a positive customer experience.
Assists with the management of the approved store budget by monitoring adherence to customer fee and credit policies/practices.
Assists in the training of all retail staff of company sales procedures/policies, programs, promotions, incentives, etc.
Maintains desired store appearance according to company standards.
Provides input to Store Manager to maintain proper and adequate levels of inventory to support sales traffic.
Participates in month-end inventory reconciliation and audits
Communicate to Store Manager any inventory discrepancies.
Assists the Store Manager as directed in coaching retail sales staff.
Positively influences and motivates all employees by maintaining a team approach in the day-to-day management of all employees.
Addresses performance issues to ensure quality and efficiency in the sales process.
May assist the Store Manager in recruiting, selecting and hiring staff.
Conducts weekly staff meetings to communicate company trends, happenings, performance statistics and standards when the Store Manager is absent/unavailable.
Engages in community activities and business development that support business goals.

Requirements:
Qualifications: 1-2 years of management experience in retail or another environment with a strong customer focus.
Able to stand for long periods of time
Able to lift up to 25 lbs unassisted
Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays
Strong organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Open to feedback on performance
Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism in dealing with employee issues and concerns
Working knowledge of PC Windows applications (Excel and Word)
High School Diploma

Desired Qualifications:
Wireless retail sales experience
Excels in customer focus, change & innovation, strategic thinking, relationship building and influencing, talent management and inspirational leadership.
Bilingual in Spanish and English
Working knowledge of cellular/paging/PCS/advanced wireless communication
