Temporary based CAD assistant to work with the exploration geology team.
The selected candidate will assist in the assimilation of new and historical data besides of 2D and 3D geological models' creation.
The CAD assistant will be responsible for organizing and transferring geological historical information into digital geospatially corrected data and helping the team to design a consistent workflow for incoming information to make data transfer to other 3D modelling software's feasible in an efficient and sound fashion.

RESPONSIBILITIES
•Compilation and organization of physical and digital historical information.
•Digital spatially corrected conversion of selected information.
•Converting 2D CAD files to 3D CAD models.
•Work unsupervised or with other members of the team to achieve goals.
•Maintain the use of standardized procedures, layers, plot and colors on all drawings.
•Develop and prepare drawings from preliminary concepts and sketches.
•Maintain a log of all plans and specifics.
REQUIREMENTS
•Proficient in the use of AutoCAD or similar CAD software required.
•Three years of any equivalent combination of acceptable education, training, and experience (desirable).
•Minimum 1 year of experience in any mining or civil project (desirable).
•Mining/geology background or experience (desirable).
•Competent in the use of Microsoft suite of software (Word, Excel and Outlook) required.
•Ability to read and understand mining and geological maps and basic terminology (desirable).
•Attention to detail with ability to communicate and recognize discrepancies required.
•Organizational and time management skills required.
•Strong work ethics and high-level confidentiality required.
