ASM partners closely with 72 and Sunny to create award winning work that hits a nerve with Gen Z and the culture at large. As an Associate Director, you will lead an ensemble of a a digital first planning team creating award winning custom content and orchestrating performance (search, social, programmatic), and analytic specialists to deliver KPI driven plans.
As the conductor of the media team, you will be responsible for ensuring that communication strategies are effectively translated into plans and for leading the development and implementation of those plans. The Associate Director is expected to have a strong working knowledge of the media space (particularly digital media) and available media research.
With the Director, constructs the strategic foundation for media plan development, leads the development of strategic media plans and ensures consistency across all channels, laddering to client business goals
Provide excellent client service by being responsive, accountable, and detail oriented. Maintains regular client contact and relationship building
Bring proactivity and leadership to the clients and the team
Understand and direct multiple user touch points that can influence creative and messaging strategies
Own consumer insights and inspire tactical representations of strong, clear media strategies
Has ability to autonomously manage all aspects of the brand, while briefing the Director on key developments and issues
Manage communication, workflow, deadlines, and interactions with strategy team, creative partners, clients, and other external teams
Oversees the day:to:day execution of the media plan and works with all the investment teams to ensure all plans adhere to strategy
Provide higher level of insight and analysis to campaign performance : drawing insights and actions from data.
Works with media and account services teams to measure plans upon implementation and after execution to ensure delivery against strategic plans/goals
Conversant in all media channels, inclusive of TV, Digital (Display, Video, Social, Mobile), Print, and OOH
Supervises all team projects, ensuring they are completed accurately and on time
Manage, mentor, and motivate direct reports to encourage their professional development while providing daily supervision and guidance
Compiles and presents plan recommendation decks
Is up:to:date in industry and technology development
Act as final resource for all inventory, billing and invoice discrepancies
Balance, prioritize and properly assign work associated with multiple, concurrent projects
6+ years agency experience or equivalent
Deep experience working in and leading integrated team, handle multiple assignments and meet tight deadlines
Experience with innovative or custom program development
Be passionate and want to lead and inspire a team
Extensive knowledge in digital media planning
Basic knowledge of fundamental concepts and practices with the ability this knowledge in common business situations
Mastery of media fundamentals, including media math, target audience development, and communication goals
Effective verbal and written communication skills; able to confidently present and sell through ideas both internally and to clients
Must love close relationships with clients and be able to identify and run towards the future and not simply deliver the ask
Strong familiarity with marketing principles, analytics and concepts
Mastery in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and media research/reporting resources
