The scholar in this position will join a group of nationally known scholars and bring their strong record of extramurally funded research to promote change in policy, programming, and practice for SGM communities. The scholar's responsibilities will include: providing leadership to the consortium; sustaining an active and successful program of research as evidenced by high impact peer-reviewed publications, presentations, and external funding; mentoring junior faculty in the consortium; teaching, mentoring, and advising graduate students; and participating in department, college, and university governance activities. The scholar will be committed to working with interdisciplinary research teams and dedicated to mentoring diverse students preparing for careers in research and/or policy.
