WHAT YOULL DO The person stepping into this role will positively affect the trajectory of the company brand as well as contribute to our rapid business growth. As the strategist for primarily external communications, youll lead the charge in developing original approaches to elevate our positioning, messaging, social presence, and press, employee and candidate engagement efforts. Youll develop an innovative program with tactics that produce results to support the full range of the companys activities and engage critical stakeholders including clients, prospects, employees, future talent and the industry:at:large.

Most importantly, you will lead with curiosity and confidence, encouraging fearless ideas, passion and dedication from your team.

Architect a communications and content strategy aligned with the business goals of the company to make a positive impact on the reputation and growth of the brand. This includes

Create comprehensive communications campaigns for key industry:leading initiatives that position the company as market leader

Develop fresh data driven stories and content, while leading external reputation management across all audiences including journalists, clients, prospects, talent, analysts and strategic partners

Manage all day:to:day media relations in the US

Develop content programs that leverage social channels to hold an on:going dialogue with our varied and disparate audiences

Create a defined PR process that includes content review, approvals and measurement

Curate a suite of communications tools, including internal updates, external newsroom, and calendar of activities

Lead all communications execution, including copywriting, interviews, quotes, scripts, award entries, website copy, talent marketing materials and agency emails.

Instigate research/trends/cases for promotional materials and comms

Events curator for media relations

Plan and manage SEO for MediaCom messaging and platforms

Develop : Individual executives profile strategies and execution

Counsel executives on critical communications and content issues

Prepare executives for media briefings and speaking opportunities

Maintain critical language and nomenclature for the company

Manage day:to:day media relations in the US

Help manage financial, policy and issues communications, working closely with Legal teams as required

WHAT YOUVE DONE BEFORE

Press Relations (PR)/Employee Engagement/Brand Reputation/Digital and Social Media/Original and Partner Research/Content Strategy/Creation/IP and Crisis Management/Audience and Distribution Strategy/Journey and Content Mapping/Diverse and Inclusive

Has 8:10 years of progressive industry PR experience with proven results growing a brand in the marketplace and has experience with crisis and policy communications.

Experience in detecting and mitigate possible issues, conflicts and disruptions in the business.

Experience with creating marketing materials and managing the creative process with designers and web developers

Experience with managing or creating content for organic and paid online media

Experience with project management and stakeholder management to meet aggressive deadlines
