iCrossing is hiring an Associate Account Director to lead the relationship and all engagements with a high:profile CPG client in our Chicago office. Our core deliverables are providing integrated cross:channel digital platform and media performance marketing solutions that deliver the strongest possible in:market performance.

As an Associate Account Director, you will play an instrumental role in driving marketing planning strategies and processes. Youll be able to guide a cross:functional iCrossing team in developing holistic strategies across media, creative and technology, aimed at meeting client growth objectives. Youll contribute to these strategies and lead or participate in such presentations to the client.

In concert with iCrossing teammates, youll mine opportunities to show iCrossings thought leadership and innovative, solution:oriented thinking. Developing important client relationships is a strength of yours and youll be responsible for overall client satisfaction and organic growth of the account.

What youll do

You will be the face of iCrossing to this client, develop a trusted working relationship with the them and become a reliable partner in delivering success
Lead a cross:functional internal team in the development of omni:channel strategies aimed at meeting and exceeding client awareness and growth objectives
Play a leadership role in cross:agency annual marketing planning for the client, partnering closely and collaborating positively with agency partners in the creation of integrated marketing plans
Oversee the creation of cross:channel digital media strategies and campaign tactical media plans
Oversee digital creative concepting and asset creation in support of such media plans
Develop strategic presentations and present them to the client with compelling storytelling capabilities that invite participation and effect desired outcomes
Actively seek to understand and bring forth consumer insights and channel best practices into marketing strategies and content development
Partner with internal teams to prioritize projects and ensure that deliverables meet our high standards
Collaborate with the Project Manager and media team to manage the financials of the account, including invoicing and reconciliation
Ensure that we are delivering upon our scope of work and facilitate scope management discussions with the client in partnership with the Project Manager
Identify growth opportunities and activate internal teams to bring them to fruition with the client
Partner with Senior Leadership to set financial goals and plan for future fiscal year(s)

Who you are

6+ years of account management experience in the digital marketing space
Naturally adept at building and maintaining important client relationships
Agency experience is required, including a thorough understanding of media planning processes
Comfortable facilitating internal and client discussions around digital media channels and strategies, including bought, owned and earned media (paid search, eCommerce, SEO, social media, display media, online video, OTT)
Ability to facilitate the creative development process, push for integration of strategy in concepts and defend work that meets the business needs
Experience leading integrated marketing programs for CPG brands and strong understanding of the customer journey
Understands marketing fundamentals including the latest trends and technology that are driving innovation and performance
Superior written and verbal communication skills and outstanding presentation abilities : articulate, concise and engaging
Experience leading, shaping and growing a large high:profile account and meeting financial goals
Effective time:management, impeccable organization and the flexibility to adapt quickly to changes
Experience developing scopes of work
Passion for inspiring and driving change and bringing groups together to collaborate effectively
