TMG is seeking anAssistant Portfolio Manager. The Assistant Portfolio Manager is responsible for the performance of portfolios managed by the Property Managers in Washington and Oregon including achievement of financial goals and ownership objectives through daily oversight of operational and financial requirements. This position has been identified as a career path position and will require continuing education and commitment to professional development.


5 years or more in the property management industry as a Community or Onsite Manager

Concurrent oversight of 3 or more properties

Concurrent supervision of 3 or more staff

Understands how to use the property financial statements as a management tool

Experience with budget development

Involvement in renovations or capital projects preferred


Build and maintain owner relationships, establishing professional credibility and providing guidance and information as it relates to the client?s goals for the property.

Regularly meet with property managers to review their portfolios focusing on occupancy, lease rates, renewals, owner satisfaction and problem solving as required.

Perform monthly site visits exterior and interior including inspecting vacant rent ready units.

Implement revenue generating guidelines to assist in reducing days vacant and loss to lease.

Train, assist and support property managers in property operations, meeting the properties goals and handling resident relation matters in a positive manner.
