Stauffer & Associates is an innovative and growing CPA firm in Liberty Lake, WA looking for an Assistant Office Manager/Bookkeeper to join our team. Responsibilities:
Assist the Office Manager as directed
Perform bookkeeping work, including A/R, A/P, reconciliations, and other data entry items
Develop good customer relationships and address customer service needs
Administer purchasing, inventory, maintenance and other operational functions
Edit documents to improve readability by detecting errors in spelling, punctuation and typographical errors
Develop a cataloging and archiving system to maintain records
Answers and screens telephone calls
Greets and assists visitors by guiding them to the appropriate area or person
Manages photocopiers, scanners, facsimile machines, binding machines and voicemail systems
Maintains customer database and assists in the use of external print and electronic mailing lists

Qualifications:
One to three years relevant experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and QuickBooks
Previous experience in a CPA firm valuable
Demonstrated problem solving skills, well-organized exceedingly attentive to details and accurate.
Capacity to multi-task and manage the completion of work in a timely fashion
Self-motivated, effective under pressure, and willing to take personal responsibility and accountability
Ability to handle confidential information with sensitivity and integrity
Experience working in a fast pace environment supporting management
Excellent verbal and written communication, problem-solving, negotiating and analytical skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment, manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Starting compensation, depends on experience (DOE)
