Attributes/Skill Set:
Acumen is looking for an organized, dedicated, detail oriented, and energetic person to join our administrative team. Construction administrative experience is preferred.
· Basic accounting and math skills will be needed for tracking of job costs and development of related reports for the executive team. Data entry and spreadsheet/report/policy development or modification will be a primary function of this role.
· A flexible schedule is to be anticipated in order to meet agency needs and frontline demands.
· The preferred candidate must be: deadline driven, able to manage competing demands, able to track approaching deadlines for tasks requiring completion with a consistent demonstration of following up with assigned duties and communicating any need for support to the executive administrative team. This individual must work well under pressure and be driven to find answers to a multitude questions and needs pertaining to daily operations.
Experience:
· developing reports related to accounting, budgets, and expense trends
· searching various databases for RFPs/RFQs
· responding to RFPs submitting contract submittals/documents
· ensuring compliance with contract terms through agency training and communication
· reviewing contract documents and preparing submittals
· writing policies, training materials, contracts, memos, capabilities statements, etc.
· tracking project awards
· ensuring compliance with licensing and certification standards with cities, counties, and
state level governing bodies; tracking each of their renewals, and preparing for renewal
prior to expiration
· conducting research via computer software, search databases, internet, etc.
· gathering information quickly and reporting to necessary parties
· budget management/development/evaluation
· Federal Government Contact business development and reporting
· researching various items, to include: travel, regulations, new business opportunities,
news alerts related to business activity, how to obtain new certifications/credentials,
· technical assistance to the team, including: searching databases, installing programs,
troubleshooting computer related issues.
· researching potential clients
· working in a team, communicating, & problem solving
· working well under pressure & responding to challenging or quickly changing situations
· other duties as assigned
