Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain and improve product pricing/margins by recommending changes to the product, process, or adjustments due to market activities through Continue Improvement process.
Maintain value-ledger for each account, focused at communicating the value we provide in the relationship.
Research and maintain customer and competitor information key to supporting quote activity in a competitive market.
Select and justify target customers for future business growth.
Intimate knowledge of customer profitability, On Time Delivery and Quality Parts Per Million.
Provide and assist in the development of pricing strategies and support communication with customer information insuring that their expectations are clearly communicated.
Initiates, administers, and tracks in-house request for quotes. Performs all necessary communication, negotiations (as requested), and follow-up to close a new opportunity and meet sales goals.
Develops short and long-range market strategies, to include bookings and sales forecasts.
Maintains working knowledge of key competitors and obtaining competitive information to facilitate long term sales goals.
Some travel required to visit customer locations

Desired Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor?s degree, or equivalent work experience in business, engineering, or technology, normally acquired through five, or more years of previous experience in a customer service, or sales oriented role.
Minimum of 10 years work experience in a manufacturing environment. Specific to Extrusion, Fabrication, and Coatings is preferred
Ability to read and understand engineering blue prints and drawings
Possess a good working knowledge of Lean Principles and their effect on new projects
