Position Objective
Responsible for advising
on, servicing and marketing the cyber/tech E&O and technology E&O needs
of Lockton clients to maximize company revenue, and to build and maintain
client, carrier, other provider, and associate relationships. Coordinate all
Lockton Cyber/tech E&O / Tech E&O resources to provide quality client

Essential Duties
· Identify
cyber/tech E&O/Tech E&O exposures and sales opportunities for both
prospects and clients.
· Understand and perform marketing and account services
to provide the broadest and most competitive quality product for Lockton

and risk
management needs of the client; anticipate when and how to
b. Understand and
is well-informed on insurance industry developments and all
cyber/tech E&O/tech E&O products available in the insurance
c. Develop and
maintain dependable working relationships with carriers and
other Cyber/tech E&O/Tech E&O service providers.
d. Understand and
advise on Cyber/tech E&O placement strategies for
placements handled by other AEs.

Coordinate individual and office marketing strategies with the
Account Executives, and for specific placements, maintain communication with
the account team during the entire marketing process to protect current
business and secure new business.
· Coordinate
the renewal of current client business:

a. Participate in the renewal meeting;
b. Create and update cyber/tech E&O coverage specifications;
c. Deliver submissions to markets;
d. Review quotes and coordinate with the team Account Executive on
proposal preparation;
e. Participate in the renewal presentation to the client, as
f. Bind coverage with cyber/tech E&O underwriters prior to
g. Prepare instructions for renewals to company;
h. Process renewed cyber/tech E&O policies with assistance of
the Project
Coordinator, Account Manager, and account team;
i. Review
work prepared by the Project Coordinator and Account Manager;
j. Prepare summaries and complete final cyber/tech E&O policy

· Undertake
responsibility for new business as directed.
· Work
with Accounting to resolve accounting criticisms in conjunction with the
account team.
· Process
policy endorsements with the assistance of the Project Coordinator and Account
· Oversee,
direct, plan, and schedule the work of others, as required. Has ultimate
responsibility for the accuracy of work processed by the Project Coordinator,
Account Manager, and others. Perform tasks not assigned to the Project
Coordinator or Account Manager.
· Arrange
for loss run schedules for clients, when appropriate.
· Prepare
written correspondence, reports, and analyses, as needed.
· Analyze
situations, identify problems, recommend solutions, and evaluate outcomes for
cyber/tech E&O risks.
· Respond
in a timely manner to the requests and needs of clients and Lockton associates.
· Make
a positive contribution to customer satisfaction and constantly strive to
improve service to the customer.
· Communicate
in a positive manner to contribute to a cohesive, pleasant work environment.
Motivate, instruct, and promote teamwork and associate development.
· Keep
abreast of market conditions and new cyber/tech E&O exposures, products and
services and develop internal and external communications as needed to support
client servicing and sales strategies.
· Make
decisions in compliance with established Lockton standards of quality performance
and service.
· Understand
when to proceed alone and when to involve the Producer or others.
· Interface
with top management of other businesses, representing Lockton in the highest
professional manner.
· Protect
the confidentiality of information learned by performing the duties of the
· Comply
with Lockton procedures and policies.
· Attend
company, department, and staff meetings, education workshops, carrier
functions, and social events as required.
· Attend
position-related seminars/classes, as required.
· Responsible
for regular and punctual attendance.
· Participate
in Lockton Cyber and Technology Practice
· Perform
other work-related duties as assigned.

Bachelor’s degree in a Science-related
program preferred or equivalent education and/or experience required
A minimum of five years’
working knowledge of insurance coverages and services required
A minimum of two years’
experience marketing and servicing the cyber/tech
E&O insurance needs
of commercial accounts required.
Current insurance
license or the ability to obtain immediately.
Must have a complete
understanding of the concepts, issues, and overall impact of marketing and pricing
Understanding of
technical and legal issues of cyber/tech E&O risks, as well as risk management concepts and their application to clients' needs.
Proficiency in the use
of Microsoft Word and Excel required; PowerPoint preferred.
Ability to compile,
analyze, and interpret financial information and data to facilitate decision making.
Organizational and time
management skills to prioritize workloads to meet time sensitive deadlines required. Must be results-oriented with the ability to change priorities as needed.
Must have strong verbal,
written, and interpersonal skills to interact with associates at all levels of responsibility,
along with the ability to communicate with tact and diplomacy.
Ability/willingness to
interact with cyber/tech E&O service providers, clients and insurance carriers on a professional level
to address issues that produce optimum results in a timely manner.
Willingness to expand
knowledge and effectiveness in the insurance industry by successful completion of extended insurance
education beyond continuing education requirements for licensing.
Ability to travel by
automobile and aircraft and be away from home more than one day and night.
Legally able to work in
the United States
