Overview Atrium Health Neurosciences Institute-Neurology (NIN) is seeking a Faculty Neurohospitalist Physician.
We invite an inpatient, academic-focused Neurologist who possesses an authentic compassion for teaching and leading academic work at a newly formed neurology residency program at Atrium Health Neurology in Charlotte, NC. The Neurology Department at Atrium Health is a network of 90+ neurology providers that supports 15 care locations, 2 regional-based stroke interventional hubs across the greater Charlotte region.

The position includes the opportunity to join our group of 8 neurohospitalist providers, 7 advanced practice providers, and our interdisciplinary care team for the stroke network.
About the Opportunity: Board eligible or Board certification in Neurology required.Vascular fellowship training (preferred).7 on / 7 off schedule, 12-hour day shifts with nighttime at-home call with in-house Advanced Practice Provider (APP) coverage.Opportunity to participate in virtual neurology and stroke services.Opportunity to participate in national clinical research trials and investigator-initiated studies based on a wealth of data from the stroke network.
