IndraSoft, Inc. is seeking a DevOps Engineer with a Top-Secret Clearance to work in the Columbia, MD area. The incumbent will be a highly motivated individual who works well as part of multi-disciplinary Agile teams in support of both operational support, system configuration and software development activities.Candidate must have strong analytical, troubleshooting skills. Candidate should have experience in performing a variety of routine project tasks applied to specialized systems administration activities. Tasks involve the standup, configuration, optimization and support of enterprise application hosted in DISA and the Mil Cloud.

Qualifications Required:
Five (5) years administering Government, DISA or DoD IT enterprise systems
Experience with a broad range of IT infrastructure, operating systems (i.e. RedHat, Windows Server, Solaris) and administrative tools used to monitor and configure Application Server (i.e. IIS and Tomcat base servers), databases (i.e. Oracle RDBMS, Postgres, SQL Server, My SQL, Cassandra)
Experience implementing and supporting the administration of DoD or commercial cloud infrastructure
Experience implementing and monitoring system level DISA STIG compliance and integration
Experience leading and implementing operational and configuration change following DevOps practices and Agile delivery methodologies such as Kanban
Bachelor s degree in Business, Engineering, Program Management or related discipline or equivalent work experience required.
Experience with DISA MPEO or SD2 organizational processes, policies and guidelines preferred.
Experience with administering Kinetic and/or Cassandra a plus

Security/Certification Requirements:
DOD Top Secret Clearance / IT-1
Advanced Admiration certification for RHEL, Windows Server or similar operating system or networking certification preferred

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Following industry best practices for Agile DevOps delivery, organizes and directs the configuration and operation of information management systems.

Environment management includes the standup and configuration of VMs, network infrastructure and a broad range of OS s and applications in support of development and test activities.

Responsible for directing the work of other system administrators to provide the day-to-day system administration to include system and resource optimization, and user assistance.

Conducts capacity and performance analysis, provides system configuration change and upgrade recommendations.

Increases system administrator efficiency and accuracy via the use of automated tools and scripts, develops system administrator procedures, and conducts system administrator training and skills assessment. Provides operational reach back support.

Leads the standup, administration and configuration of development and test environments following detailed Government and DISA specific policies and guidelines.
Physical Demands:
While performing duties of the job, incumbent will be exposed to Normal demands associated with an office environment. Ability to work on computer for long periods, and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face to face. This position requires incumbent to have the ability to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear. Employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust and focus.
Work Environment:
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
