Details of the offer

GENERAL FUNCTION: Supervise and administer all initial placement tests; entry, interim and exit tests of Adult Basic Education (TABE); TABE for GED entry and other tests as required by the program. Counsel students regarding test results. Collects, generates and disseminates information regarding class attendance. Follow through with reports and sanctions to assist in a high percentage of class attendance. Schedules students into appropriate courses and develop Individual and Master Student schedules by acquiring information and input from appropriate departments
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor Degree desired.
OR
An Associate Degree with four years of para-professional classroom experience and office procedures experience reflecting computer skills and organizational ability is required.
OR
A High School Diploma or GED equivalent and eight years of experience in testing and office procedures experience reflecting typing and organizational ability is required. Should be able to operate a variety of office machines and interface with staff and students in a mature, responsible manner.
Experience:
n Administrative assisting, teaching or counseling experience preferred.
Knowledge:
n Effective verbal and written communication skills
n Effective organizational skills
n Effective interpersonal skills
n Proficient computer technology skills
n Ability to interpret data and analyze its use within educational
programs
Licenses or
Certificates: n A valid Regular Driver License is required.
