Industry: Fire Protection Role: Lead Fire Sprinkler Design Manager gpac, a family-owned, family-run Search Firm is partnered with a very respectable Fire Protection Compnay in Virginia that is a skilledloking for a  Lead Fire Sprinkler Design Manager  to join the team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in fire sprinkler design, preferably a NICET III certification in Water-Based Systems, and proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD and HydraCad. 
Key Responsibilities: The Fire Sprinkler Design Manager  will oversee the scope sheet, confirming schedule and design requisites. Ensure projects are delegated to suitable design team members and uphold quality management during the construction design phase. The manager will offer prompt, clear, and professional assistance to all clients and staff, ensuring timely follow-up. Conduct site surveys and train team members in the correct survey procedures. Inform the sales and operations team of any changes in scope or headcounts from the initial estimate. Perform quality checks on drawings through head layout, pipe layout and pipe size.  Design, review, and approve of all drawings prior to submittal. Manage design team's workload and commitment dates. Key Skills: Must have excellent written, verbal and presentation skillsets.  Proficient in reading and interpreting construction documents. Ability to build relationships with customers, sales, and operations team. Detail oriented with excellent organization skills. Must have ability to manage a team and work on construction job site.
