Certified Payroll And Prevailing Wage Specialist

LHH is partnering with a reputable construction company in San Diego to hire a detail-oriented and motivated Certified Payroll/Prevailing Wage Specialist. This position offers an opportunity for growth and competitive benefits. The successful candidate will assist with various certified payroll and accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist with certified payroll processing and upload appropriate documents to the DIR (Department of Industrial Relations) website.
Support invoicing clients on a weekly basis, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Complete bid packages, create change orders, and maintain accurate records.
Log GPS reports for the vehicle fleet and ensure compliance with company policies.
Assist with job closeouts and communicate with field employees regarding the status of projects.
Support dispatch duties as needed to ensure efficient operations.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:
Minimum of 1 year of experience in certified payroll processing.
Experience with QuickBooks accounting software is preferred.
Intermediate Excel skills are required.
Bilingual in Spanish and English is preferred, but not required.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Schedule: Mondays: 6:30 am - 3:30 pm, Tuesdays-Fridays: 7:00 am - 4:00 pm
