Flexibility required during office hours and based on client need. 40 hours per week required.Salary range of $162,720 -$167,720Advanced Practice Registered Nurse ResponsibilitiesProvide initial assessments and treatment planning for clients of TGC. The primary focus of work will be with adults. Some child work will be expected as well as coverage for clients of other prescribing staff.Participate in a team approach for treatment planning and provision, for those clients seen by multiple providers at TGCProvide education to clients on symptoms, medication effects and side effectsCoordinate services with other community providers when necessaryProvide injections to specific clients as prescribedProvide consultation to other TGC providers to assist in crisis interventionEnsure that all clinical services provided are following clinical guidelines of The Guidance Center and regulatory bodiesQualifications for Advanced Practice Registered NurseEDUCATION AND LICENSURE:Registered nurse with Baccalaureate and master's degrees in nursing.Licensed by the Kansas State Nursing Board as a Nurse Practitioner.Certification as a Clinical Nurse Specialist or as an Adult Nurse Practitioner through the American Nurse Credentialing CenterSpecialty in psychiatric nursingEXPERIENCE:Required: completion of practicum during master's program in a psychiatric setting with training in diagnosis, prescribing, and following patient care.Preferred: two years' experience in treating patients in an outpatient clinical settingWe are an equal opportunity employer and prohibit discrimination/harassment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local laws.
