**Job Description:**
Knight Fire Specialists, LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced CPA/Accounts Controller to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's financial operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with relevant regulations.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. **Financial Reporting:** Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
2. **Budgeting and Forecasting:** Develop and monitor the company's budget, conduct variance analysis, and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
3. **Financial Planning and Analysis:** Perform financial modeling, forecasting, and trend analysis to identify opportunities for cost optimization and revenue enhancement.
4. **Accounts Payable and Receivable:** Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing, collections, and vendor payments, to ensure timely and accurate transactions.
5. **Tax Compliance:** Coordinate with external tax advisors to ensure compliance with all tax regulations and optimize tax planning strategies.
6. **Audit and Compliance:** Facilitate internal and external audits, maintain documentation, and implement controls to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
7. **Team Leadership:** Supervise and mentor a team of professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to foster professional development and ensure departmental objectives are met.
8. **Continuous Improvement:** Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and efficiency enhancements within the accounting function.
**Qualifications:**
- Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred; however a BS in the same field may be considered.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in accounting or financial management roles, preferably in the Oil and Gas Industry.
- CPA designation preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.
