Accountant - Remote Work

Job Description:

Weyerhaeuser is seeking a talented and experienced Accountant to join our team on a part-time basis, with the option to work remotely. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in accounting, with a strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently. As an Associate Level Accountant, you will be responsible for a variety of accounting tasks and financial reporting duties.

Responsibilities:- Prepare and maintain financial records, statements, and reports- Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy of financial data- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes- Analyze financial information to identify trends and discrepancies- Provide support for audits and compliance requirements- Collaborate with other team members and departments to support business objectives- Stay current with accounting standards and regulations- Perform ad-hoc tasks and projects as needed

Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field- CPA or CPA eligibility preferred- 2+ years of accounting experience- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software- Adaptable and resourceful mindset- Excellent time management and critical thinking skills
